What to expect at your first visit.
Every visit follows the same four steps, so you always know what comes next.
Your first consultation is private and unhurried. You will be heard first, your options will be explained plainly, and nothing will be recommended before you have been properly assessed.
- You are heard first
- Assessment only where it changes the advice
- No pressure to proceed

Built so you never feel rushed.
Many women tell us they have put off an appointment because they expected to feel rushed or judged. We built the visit the other way round.
All of our doctors are women. You will be matched to the right doctor for your concern, and you are welcome to ask questions at any point, including the ones that feel awkward.
“There are no silly questions here.”
From hello to follow-up.
Consultation
Your concerns and history, in your own words, with no time pressure.
Assessment
An examination or targeted tests, only where they will change the advice. Your doctor explains each step before it happens.
Personal plan
Your options explained honestly, including those that do not need a procedure.
Follow-up
Progress reviewed over time, and the plan adjusted when needed.
Helpful to know, and to bring.
Helpful to bring or prepare
- A note of your main concern and when it started
- A list of any medicines or supplements you take
- Any recent reports or test results
- Questions you would like answered
Good to know
- Our team will tell you how to prepare when you book, if anything specific is needed
- You can pause or stop at any point, including during an examination
- You can ask for anything to be explained in plain language
- Your information stays private
What we will do, and what we will not.
We will
- Listen before we advise
- Explain every option, including those that need no procedure
- Tell you honestly when something is not right for you
- Give you time to decide
We will not
- Recommend anything before you have been assessed
- Pressure you to start treatment on the day
- Use jargon you have not asked for
- Make promises about results

Your visit is unhurried, with time to talk. Our team can tell you the expected length when you book.
Will I need an examination?
Only where it will change the advice. Your doctor explains first, and you can ask to pause, stop or decline.
How much does it cost?
Please ask our team when you book, so that you know the consultation fee before you come.
Can I bring someone with me?
Please ask our team when you book, and we will let you know.
Will I be asked to start treatment on the day?
No. Nothing is recommended before you have been assessed, and you are never pressured to proceed.
What if I am pregnant or have a cancer concern?
We do not provide pregnancy care or cancer treatment. If either applies to you, our team will help point you to the right specialist.
Not sure which area to choose?
You do not need to know. Tell us what is on your mind and we will point you to the right doctor.
